Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheesesteak Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and bell peppers; sauté for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook for 7-8 minutes until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and softened cream cheese; heat until melted and combined into a smooth sauce.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish, layer provolone cheese on top, followed by mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 22-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
