Step-by-Step Instructions for Caramel Apple Pie Bread Pudding
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- If your bread isn’t stale, spread the cubed bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together vanilla yogurt, milk, eggs, 1 tsp of cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped apples and raisins, then stir in the dried bread cubes until well-coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Mix together the remaining sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top of the pudding.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
- For the caramel sauce, melt butter with brown sugar over medium heat, stir in heavy cream, and simmer until thickened.
