Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine 3/4 cup of granulated sugar with 3 teaspoons of apple pie spice. Set aside.
- Open your can of Pillsbury Grand biscuits and separate them into two layers, making 16 biscuit pieces. Press each piece into a 4-inch circle.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of diced apple pie filling with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir well to coat the apples.
- Take one circle of biscuit dough, place about 1 tablespoon of the apple filling in the center, and fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
- Roll each filled biscuit into a smooth ball. Aim for uniformity and set aside on a clean plate.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F. Spray the basket with nonstick spray and arrange the bombs 2 inches apart. Air fry for 8-9 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove the bombs from the air fryer, dip each into 1/2 cup of melted butter, then roll in the sugar and spice mixture.
- Serve warm for best flavor, or allow to cool to room temperature if desired.
