  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs gluten-free if necessary
  • 1 large Egg or flax egg for vegan
For Frying or Baking
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the Corn by draining and patting dry canned corn, or remove kernels from fresh corn.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients by mixing mozzarella cheese and egg until well coated.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients by whisking all-purpose flour, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  4. Incorporate Corn into the cheese and egg mixture gently.
  5. Combine Mixtures by gradually adding dry to wet mixture, mixing until fully combined.
  6. Form the Bites into small balls about the size of a golf ball.
  7. Prepare for Frying or Baking by heating oil or preheating oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Fry or Bake the Bites until golden brown; frying takes 3-4 minutes per side, baking takes 15-20 minutes.
  9. Drain Excess Oil by placing fried bites on paper towels.
  10. Cool Slightly and Serve warm with dipping sauces.
