  • 2 cups Stuffing gluten-free if desired
  • 1 cup Shredded Turkey can substitute with cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup Gravy homemade or store-bought
  • to taste Black Pepper
Coating
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Butter/Oil for frying or can use olive oil for a healthier option

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • Nonstick skillet
  • parchment paper
  • Large bowl
  • Tongs

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients and bring them to room temperature. If mashed potatoes are cold, warm in the microwave for 20–30 seconds.
  2. Check the consistency of your stuffing; if too dry, add a splash of broth. Mix well until flavors meld.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, stuffing, and shredded turkey. Add black pepper to taste and mix until just combined.
  4. Decide to bake or pan-fry your Turkey Stuffing Balls. If baking, preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. If frying, roll each ball in panko breadcrumbs and heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the rolled balls in the skillet for about 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat and let drain on paper towel. Serve warm with drizzled gravy.
