Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and toast the pecans for 8–10 minutes.
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then mix in brown sugar, granulated sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk. Microwave for 6 minutes until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla and toasted pecans, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Scoop and shape the caramel-pecan mixture into turtle shapes and dip them in melted chocolate.
- Refrigerate the dipped turtles for another 30 minutes to set.
