Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season your cod fillets generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the cod for about 3-4 minutes on each side until opaque and flaky. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add more olive oil if needed and reduce heat to medium. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic for about 2 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  3. Introduce the roasted red peppers, followed by paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and pour in heavy cream and broth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
  4. Transfer the sauce to a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust thickness with broth and taste to season.
  5. Pour the blended sauce back into the skillet. Return the cooked cod and simmer for 2-3 minutes to soak in the flavors.
  6. Plate by spooning the sauce over the cod. Garnish with parsley and lemon juice before serving.
