Step-by-Step Instructions for Miso Butter Salmon
  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, grated fresh ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green onions. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking dish. Evenly distribute the prepared miso butter over the fillets.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes until opaque. Broil for 1-2 minutes for caramelization.
  4. For air fryer, preheat to 400°F. Cook salmon for 9-10 minutes until golden and firm.
  5. Transfer cooked salmon to a serving platter. Drizzle with remaining miso butter and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
