Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease your 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Cook lasagna noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  4. Sauté chopped onions in olive oil until translucent.
  5. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cook until tender.
  6. Incorporate chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  7. Layer marinara sauce, noodles, ricotta, mushroom-spinach filling, mozzarella, and parmesan.
  8. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes.
  10. Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving, garnish with fresh basil.
