Preparation Steps
- Line an 8 or 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Blend chopped strawberries and applesauce until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the strawberry-applesauce puree with gelatin.
- Dissolve the gelatin mixture in a double boiler, stirring continuously.
- Let the gelatin mixture cool for 5–10 minutes.
- Whip the cooled gelatin mixture in a stand mixer until fluffy.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve chilled.
