  • 4 fillets Salmon Fillets Choose skin-on or skin-off based on your preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Can substitute with any neutral oil.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked.
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Peach Preserves/Jam Apricot preserves can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar Can also use lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard works too.
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic Adjust based on garlic preference.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional, adjust to spice tolerance.
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley/Chives Chopped for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Gently pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together peach preserves, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon fillets skin-side down for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon, pour half of the peach glaze on top, and bake for about 8-12 minutes until salmon is cooked through.
  6. Brush the remaining glaze on the salmon during the last 2 minutes of baking.
  7. Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley or chives.
