Step-by-Step Instructions for Copycat Raising Cane's Texas Toast
- In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of room temperature unsalted butter with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth and fully blended.
- Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm for about 3-5 minutes.
- Generously spread the prepared garlic butter on one side of each thick slice of white bread.
- Carefully place the slices of bread with the buttered side down onto the heated skillet. Spread more garlic butter on the top side of each slice.
- Using a spatula, gently flip each slice of Texas toast once the bottom is golden brown and crispy. Let the other side cook until golden.
- Once both sides are perfectly golden and crispy, remove the Texas toast from the skillet and transfer it to a serving plate. Serve warm.
