Preparation
- Wash four ripe peaches under cool running water. Slice into wedges, discarding the pits.
- Juice three large lemons to make about one cup of lemon juice, removing seeds.
- Combine one cup of sugar with two cups of water in a medium bowl and stir until dissolved.
- Blend the peach slices, lemon juice, and remaining two cups of water until smooth.
- Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve if a smoother texture is desired.
- Cover the pitcher and chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint or additional peach slices.
