- In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated and shape into 4-6 patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the formed patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix with 1 cup of hot water until smooth.
- Stir in additional ketchup and Worcestershire sauce into the gravy. Pour the gravy over the patties in the skillet and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Once the gravy thickens, serve the Salisbury Steak with gravy ladled over. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
