- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter with parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and creamy for the butter spread.
- Take two slices of bread, spread the butter mixture on one side. Layer turkey meats, followed by a generous helping of cheese.
- Cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over low heat and toast the sandwich for 5-6 minutes until golden brown, pressing down gently.
- Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise, red grape juice vinegar, remaining parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and cracked pepper for the dressing.
- Fold lettuce, red onions, and banana peppers into the dressing. Set aside.
- Once toasted, slice the sandwich in half, load it with the dressed veggie mixture, and serve immediately.
